Youth for Excellence and Significance Initiative
The Y.E.S. Initiative is a non-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization which provides programs to I.P.S students to instill in them a positive can do (YES) attitude.

As part of the Y.E.S. Initiative, Champions Camps offers a multi-sports summer program to all Indianapolis Public School students free of charge. The core mission of the Y.E.S Initiative, under the umbrella of Kendrick Camps, is to impact youth through sports fundamentals as well as the key components to a successful life though Leadership, Attitude, Community ,Education and Spirituality. All programming will take place at IPS schools and facilities. While teaching excellence on the court and in the field, it is our goal to transfer the lessons learned on the field and courts to a lifetime of success in the classroom and the community.
During the summer of 2007, over 700 students participated in the Champions Camps program. This year again, the flowing camps will be offered to IPS students. Registration forms and information will be available at the school the student attends.
